What was Muriels please?

Yes Dennis, and judging by the mini-skirts I should remember this place and "Muriel's", whatever it was, but I just can't. Wish I could do a "Gary Sparrow" and go back for another look. With the way things are today, I'd be tempted to stay there!

I thought that where the building curves into the Wiend was the location of Halliwell's wines and spirit bottlers . . . my mum worked there for a while but she doesn't remember the building having 3 storeys . . .

Just in front of where the two girls are was the millgate cafe . This side of the road there used to be a club called the green curtain where they used to play cards, further down is the Ship Pub.

The Face is to the right hand side roughly on the site of the Ezra Sidebotham's printing works.

Correction, to the left hand side.
