The Ancient Order Of Foresters is a Friendly society,still active in Abram. The group photo would have been the officials at the time dressed in ceremonial costume.
Steve, You say the Foresters are still active in Abram. You don't happen to know where they meet? I am researching for abook and i would love to get in touch with them
I have a photo of my great grandfather (who died in 1939) his son and grandson who were all in the foresters in Abram, 3 generations! Have several sashes and would be interested to know more information
