All I can say for certain about this photograph is that the church is St Mary's in Lower Ince. The uniforms on the pall-bearers do not seem to be military... maybe police or fire brigade? A wild stab at the date would be the 1920's.
The priest is the Revd Samuel Bryson, who was Vicar of St Mary's from 1915 - 1944. Most pics show him as grey-haired, so it's difficult to date it from that feature - but I think he looks quite aged here - so I'd put it in the 30s. Where did you find this pic? It looks as if it might be a newspaper pic.
Rev. Long... it was in a box of photographs my wife was given after her father's passing. The Waterhouse family came from Spring View, it was an original photograph so we are assuming a member of the family took it.
