Was that big building in the background called "Crank and Burtons". My Dad always told the story of his auntie who lived in Poolstock who went there to buy something and got out of her posh car thinks it was a Rolls with clogs on. My Dads cousins used to own a garage called Armstrongs in Poolstock.

This was when Wigan has some character about it , the old Market hall , the bus station , Wigan casino , etc . It is not the same nowadays !!
