I never knew his real name, but when I worked for Sellars Pies, he would call in for some and they always just called him "The Wrestler"

His real name was Harry Winstanley, and he wrestled under the name Melvin Riss.

I remember him well and I remember Mary his wife having the shope next door to the old dog. You could go in for five no.6 in a regal packet and a few matches.

This was my Dad agree that he was a little mean with tips etc he won his British Lightweight belt in 1959 very good golfer
