Look carefully! A high rise block of flats had been built, Douglas House. Cranes can be seen beyond large building, possibly building Woodcock House. To the left a block, finished, not high but nearer, Limefield Flats!!!!

There is/was a plaque marking the opening of Limefield dated 1966 and I think the newer type of high rise were started in 1965/66, Douglas House was built in about 1960/1.

Yes, remember it all well! The plague is still there. The flats on the photo, well gone. Though, the flats still up, I met Harold Wilson there. How old was I? Oh yes, 4!
