good pic janice, i dont remember lowe family, even though my father lived next door.

Hi Dave, yeah the Lowes were the first tenants having moved from bryn backs, they were a large family having 10 children. Across the road they had a pen were they kept pigs etc. with all those kids they would need it. On the photo is back row L to R Ken Lowe, Bernard Lowe. Front row L to R Shiela Kitts, Ellen Lowe and Joe Price. Sheila Kitts mum was a Lowe, as was Joe Price's mum. Ellen and Joe have sadly recently passed away.

Thanks for that janice, i do remember the pens, and i also know bernard lowe who still lives on the estate but didnt know they lived in birch grove as kids.

hi janice,another good one,i was at yorkshire other wk and our glenda was telling me funny enough,bout the lowe's she remembers loads more with being older xx

It is Fri May 8th at the school hall. Tickets are on sale at the school, three pounds each, I think.

It is for all ex pupils of North Ashton,Rectory rd school, tickets are on sale at the school. If you live away, as I do, you may have to have someone you know get tickets for you..

Hi Janet, our Glenda has asked me to say 'hello'. we would love to come to the reunion but will have to see. If ALL ex-pupils attend it'll be a bit crowded .. queue would stretch to Garswood ha ha x
