This isn't Arundel Street far too long for Arundel street but no idea where in Scholes it is.

It’s Arundel St according to TimePix I’ve just checked to make sure.
Memory does play tricks though. It’s over 60 years since the street existed.

The street you are looking up is Windsor St. Towards the top on left is St Georges School. Indeed the chap is on the corner of Windsor Street and Arundel St. Walked up there many a time to school in the 60s.
