Members of the Wigan branch of the Electrical Trades Union march through Wigan town centre in 1971 on their way into Crompton Street with Oliver Somers shop, Bulloughs electrical shop and Chamberlains music shop in the background. Picture from my book "JUST ONE MORE", available locally.

Was this the build up to the miners' strike, of 1972, or was this march in relation to a different dispute?.
