Wigan Album

I found this cutting from a Wigan Paper in my Fathers 1954 diary relating to Massey Bros. Director Thomas Massey. Father joined Massey Brothers in 1926 after he moved up to Wigan from Maidstone and worked on the shop floor building the bus bodies. He was promoted during his time and became one of the shop floor managers supervising the men. He left Massey's in 1936/7 to work at Santus Motor Bodies. From conversations I had with father in later life, he knew all the senior folks in Massey Bros, as well as Northern Counties. I feel this bit of a newspaper cutting is ideal for Wigan World Album as all these bus building companies have disappeared from us.
