I knew Tom Baines who worked in the sales office at
R.G.Brown, after several years in the sales office
at John England Tubes on Makerfield Way.

Stan, The TI (Tube Investments) Markland + England name did
not last very long, It was soon changed to TI Markland Ltd.
I was the Traffic Manager at England Tubes from 1976-1978.

Hi Ray, the man driving the lorry looks like my dad Len Ollerton! He ended up being the transport manager at RGB. Does anyone remember Len? Be great to hear anything about him because he died back in 1992 age only 48. Regards, Craig Ollerton

I used to work at RGB around 1984 and have some photos in the office hen they were celebrating my 21st birthday and Im sure Len is in a few. As is Brian Livesly I think his name was. From Bolton if I recall correctly. I was an office Junior and worked with Tom and a few others.

If you worked at RGB pipelines at Locket Road then you’ll probably know my dad. Doug Griffiths (I know you will Craig O). I remember Len fondly - he was my God parent :) I’d love to see more photos. They had a good volleyball team too.
