One of six ordered by Wigan Corporation before being absorbed into GMPTE. They were delivered after GMT took over and they were a throwback as the design had been discountinued by ECW (who built the bodywork) so it was strange these appeared in 1975. These were the first Wigan buses for sometime that were not built in Lancashire.
