Aubrey: Don't let your Inspecter see this, your out of uniform son, not to mention a truncheon missing.
We met Terry in 1980, and found out that we knew lots of people in common. A very nice man and terrific host. It was our first holiday abroad, and to find a part of Wigan in a foreign land was great. Happy memories
John G I can't imagine where he would keep his truncheon in that outfit.
DTease: I think they should have considered another police course in undercover work, something just not quite right here,appears to be defects in the undercover operations.

Never used a truncheon in 30 years service, kept it concealed.
I must admit Aubrey, I haven't used my truncheon much in the last 30years either. Although, I did use it quite a lot when it was younger.
This bar is also featured under the 'Assorted' heading, under 'Holidays'from the 1970's.
I cant see their truncheons, but I can see their Bobbys Helmets.
I wonder if they are wearing socks with their sandals. You could usually tell Brits abroad!

Very important them helmets Ray. After all, if someone managed to get hold of your truncheon you wouldn't want the rascal to batter you round the head with it would you?

Quite a while Aubrey since I last met up with you, and the was at a funeral. Over the years you hadn't changed very much, from when we worked together in the very early sixties.
