This Bedford OB coach, JP 6750, was owned by
Taylor Bros, who I believe were based at Wigan
Lower Road, Standish Lower Ground. The coach has
bodywork by Duple, and dates from 1948 approx.

I REMEMBER Taylor Bros they did come from Standish L. G. in
the early 1960s they also had 4 Bedford tippers James + his
son FRED + 2DRIVERS used to drive them D.C.
As I remember there were three brothers in partnership as Taylor brothers. My Grandad, Tom Taylor, was one of them, though I never met him as he died when my mum, Lilian, was 18. That was when she was in the Land Army and before she got married and had children.
I was just looking for their old house - Lynne Deane on Wigan Lower Road. Just checking out some of my childhood memories.
