I believe they were the sisters of actor Jack Warner i.e. Dixon of Dock Green fame.Plus numerous other British films of the 1940's

You are correct Ron. He lived in Margate, Kent.

I have a vague recollection of seeing the Waters sisters perform in Blackpool, when I was about seven or eight, our family including assorted aunts, uncles and cousins were all in the town at the same time. There was a snapshot of some of the group, I was wearing an itchy knitted swimsuit, and was missing one of my two middle incisors.!(are you there,Helen of Troy?)Unfortunately my memory doesn't extend to the content of the performance,I expect it was a little above my head!
...Another of my memories of about the same time was of seeing "Ted and Barbara Andrews and Julie".Again, there is no memory of the actual performance!
