Yawn !!
Top left: Mercedes-Benz L-Series tractor unit. Not too sure how many of these Merc's Harts had, but Terry Armstrong bought one from Harts in the early 1970s for the Carnforth to redland tile run at New Springs. It used 4 gallon or just over 18 liters of engine oil per day. We use to add old oil to it until the engine got rebuilt. Not a good truck for the tipper job it was troublesome and costly.
Enough is enough however interesting to some isn't it time to move on.
I suspect anoraks are out again.
Right hand photo looks like old Austin/Morris type.
Colin,
Can`t believe you are criticizing the holy grail of foreign trucks, that is usually reserved for the British.
Wuz, with greatest respect, why , if someone values something , are they
required to move on? I find greater reward going backwards if truth be told.
