Sad end to a once busy line connection. This bridge was taken apart in several weekends on Sundays.

This is Westwood Lane next to St Mary's.No remains left of the line at all now.

Spent many a day during school holidays and at weekends, train spotting from the fence at the top of the embankment on the right of the photo. There was a cinder football pitch there and in quite times, there were that many of us we could almost have a full scale game.

Pete, sorry you're on the wrong bridge. Westwood lane road bridge is still intact, on the photo that's the bridge you can see further back. Look at the photo more closely, on the far left you can see the remains of the abutment that held up the steel bridge.
