I found this book amongst my fathers books last year. The next 3 uploads are taken from this book. I can remember visiting their Father Christmas in 1951 as did my sisters in the late 1930's/early 40's.

Wow what a treasure Never seen or heard of this book before. I bet Tom Walsh would be interested in looking at it. He spent a lot of his working life working at LOWES

You're right I'm sure, Ron.....Tom would love it! I have a dvd which is actually about Platt Bridge, but there is a short scene on it showing Father Christmas climbing onto Lowe's roof ad disappearing "down the chimney". My late brother, (19 years my senior), remembered going to see that.
