I remember seeing John Byatt riding around Wigan on that bike in the 60s
My Dad worked out of Springs Branch, but I suspect it was a little before the time of these 2 lads. Does John Bretherton have any connection with the Brethertons who lived at the bottom of Victoria Road Platt Bridge?

Where is he now?
I remember chatting with John about his racing exploits. Didn't realise he was that into it, the Norton must have cost a fortune on John's wage at the time. Is John still about I wonder? Be great to chat and catch up...
