Bernard operates Gaskell's wheeled loader at the waste hopper. The material was transported by road to the borrow pit adjacent to the southbound M6 at junction 22 where it was subsequently buried.

Wait for it gp, unless I'm mistaken, Garry is about to inform us that the internationally recognised Caterpillar trademark is in actual fact, nothing of the sort, but instead, the letter C that denotes a Chaseside product. How's it going Garry ? Nice to hear from you mate.

It's a Reliant Robin on steroids.

Definitely a 966, the smaller 944 was rear wheel steer. The larger 966 as we can see from the picture is articulated.

It's more than four years since I put this photo on, so I'm surprised anyone bothers looking any more, I know I don't......
....I went to school with a lad that ended up working at Leverton's, although in what capacity I'm not sure, but in all likelihood it would have been a white collar position. I forget his first name , it may possibly have been Dave, but his surname was Walker. Inevitably of course, during his entire time at school, he was known to all and sundry as " Runner ".
It's going back a bit now but who knows ?, someone may remember the lad.
