Trevor bought a new low loading trailer at a Haydock Plant Show, so I'm told, Did you ever use it ??

I assume the trailer in question would have been the one pictured above AB. It was built by M&G artic who were based at Lye in Worcestershire. It was an extremely good trailer for the job, but due to the small wheels, it had to be driven sympathetically or run the risk of blowing a tyre, although I never had a problem in that respect. The hydraulic rams on the beavertail were a Sutcliffe modification, using Rams borrowed from Gullick Dobson's. The trailer was stolen shortly after I left the company but turned up a few years later in the ownership of a certain Frank Derrick. But that's another story.
