This is my great-grandmother, Clara Groves, when she retired from the Empress Mill. Her sister, Winnie, is stood in the centre of the back row. I'm guessing the date is late 50s / early 60s.

E J Hall, next to Winnie is Kathleen(?)Burgess, next is Christine Warburton.The girl on the right with the turban is Betty Entwistle. The girl on the left next to girl in glasses is Sheila Tarpey

Evelyn, I thought that was my Mum Sheila Tarpey, now Nyland when I saw the photo. Great picture
