There used to be 7 small loco's on site at Gathurst, this one was last in service in 1981,
it now resides in the Apedale light railway museum Stoke On Trent.

There used to be a larger type of this locomotive, at the wagon works, in Spring View. It was used to shunt wagons around the works.

Ruston?.
Am I right in thinking that this would have been built just down the road at Vulcan works?
That seems quite possible, The Ruston originally was built in Lincon but I think they were as you say also built at the Vulcan works.
