The presentation of the "Oscars of the newspaper industry" Goss award for none-heatset web offset. The Wigan Observer weekly newspaper printed by Thos Wall & Sons, was the Winning entry. Derrick Smith (seventh from the right) is presented with the award. The presentation was held at the Savoy Hotel, London. April 1983.
