This brings back distant memories 1950-56 (Infants & Juniors).If memory serves me right, once though that gate, didn't the path slope down to the lower yard. I remember around 1953/54 winter,the path was ice/snow covered and made a good slide. Unfortunately, someone stuck his arm out as I was sliding down and fell on my face breaking a tooth in the process. To this day I still have the gap as a reminder.
What year was it demolished?

In my day and I left in 1949 to go away to boarding school from Mr Boggis's class...where the group are standing by the gate it was all coble stones. We would have great fun there playing marbles.....
