I was doing a 1 year full time course at Wigan Tech 1960/61& joined the Science Society.Does anyone remember it during that time. We had organised trips out to various places of interest during the 1st part of 1961. Leyland Motors in January, Calder Hall(now Sellafield) in April and this one to Shell Stanlow refinery, on the way back to Wigan we stopped off in Chester for a meal and a bit of "footy" near the River Dee. After this time can't name any of the group.

Well Barrie that's called a good day out, the two ladies on the right don't look that impressed. But I hope someone gets in touch.
