Patched up your picture a bit Stephen. Unfortunately, I couldn't replace the Teachers legs. Hope you don't mind.

DTease is there any chance that you know the writing on the picture you downloaded onto Wigan history just can’t make some of the writing out, if you could I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Is that my old mate Duncan Perkins on the middle row , far right?

tony, I can't make the writing any larger without splitting the photo into smaller parts and uploading each part.
Have you tried right-clicking the photo and downloading it to your own computer?. you should be able to enlarge it there so that you can read it.

Hi Phil, do you remember the guy top left? It's Steve Prescott, you may remember me as 'Spike'.

Hello Spike, hope you are well. Have you finished with my NME Book of Rock which I lent you in approx. 1977? I see from the other version of this photo that Locky is on this pic next to DP. Can I assume this is the same chap who was at WGS with us and who sadly passed away a few years ago?

Hi Phil, I've still got it - it's on my bookcase!!! You're right about Robert.

After leaving Wigan Grammar School/Mesnes High, Robert Lockhart went on to graduate from Magdalen College, Oxford in 1979 and then studied at the Royal College of Music. He went on to compose music for theatre, film and TV. Amongst his credits was the music for The Inspector Lynley Mysteries which is continually repeated on TV. He sadly died in 2012 at the relatively young age of 52. Google him for more info.

I'm currently reading You Left Early. Sobering reading( if you'll forgive the pun ) very emotive for someone you knew at an early age and also died too young.
