I think this photo is later than 52/53 as our class was the first to mix with the boys in 1956 Tom. That class is younger than my class. I recognise Frank Halliwell in the middle row my friend's brother. I can see Desmond Foster and John McDermott son of Mr Mc Dermott on the back row. I recognise faces but can't recall their names.

Are you on the photo Tom?

Veronica your quite right it is later. My wife Eileen nee Grundy is first on the left front row. If I could mention The Whit Monday Exibition is now on at The Museum of Wigan Life ( the old library) Old footage being shown and 100s of old photographs . Well worth a visit.

Just thought I would mention Tom that Frank Halliwell the lad with the blonde hair in the second row emigrated to Perth with his family in 1963. He ended up having to go in the Army because of the conflict in Vietnam- I don't think that was expected!

i am sure the boy forth from the right on the back row is one of my old neighbours danny mcnamara and the boy on the right of him is my brother gerard tighe now deceased
