I am the sad-faced child, third from the left in the middle row. I can only identify two others:
Geoffrey Croft and Paul Winstanley.
I think the boy second from the right on the top row may be John Entwistle?? Also looks like my cousin, Bill Ormesher second from right on middle row.
Forgot to say, John Entwistle's family had a newsagents shop along Ince Bar. Bill Ormesher lived in Christopher Street.
Not sure if this is one or two classes but 38 in one class seems, if my memory serves me well, about the same size of class I recall from my primary classes in the 1950's.

Jimmy's brother Graham was in my class.Years later I worked at the same bank as Graham's wife, Janet.
I recognise a few faces on this pictures think Joan Boyd Jaqueline Orrell Jimmy Metcalf BillyHilton Carl Roden,all went to Rose Bridge.
