Some of the pupils that were in my year, most left in 1963, so this was 25 years later. The reunion was held in the Market Hotel in Mesnes street. Yours truly front left with the jumper. Sorry to say I know that a couple of the people on this photograph or no longer with us. R.I.P Alan Ramsdale and Alan Parkinson.
Can anyone on the photo who I am not in contact with email me please.

Ron. Wasn't Eric McPherson a master at Thomas Linacre?. Knew him very well, as boys, we lived close to each other. He had a sister Olwyn. I haven't seen him for many, many years.

Yes he was He was an Engineering teacher. His brother Alan? who lives in Scotland was great friends with my late brother in law. A few years ago we were in Scotland on a lads fishing week and we met up with Alan in a pub near Loch Earn

Thank you for the confirmation Ron. I thought there were only Eric, and Olwyn. I cannot remember a brother Alan. Is he much younger than the mentioned two?.

Alan would be around 70. He came from Lower Ince.

Thank you Ron. He is younger than I am. I'll be eighty three next Sunday.

I played Rugby with Alan in the late 60's. His brother taught me.

Spoke to Dr Eric McPherson a couple of years ago. He was living in Sale and had written a book on Wigan's war memorials.
