He had sisters Margaret, and Mary, And another brother Roy. In 1936, I was only two, and lived opposite Spring View Police Station.

Yes, you are correct Alan. I believe Fred was the youngest, but as to what happened to Fred, it has gone completely from my memory. It is surprising the small things that stay in your mind. One day Jack had a good win on the horses, and I was in the house. He gave each of them something, and he didn't leave me out. He gave me half a crown. Quite a welcome sum, about 1947/48. I've never forgotten it. May each one of them rest in God's peace.
Alan. I must correct myself. Ted was the other brother. Was there Fred?. Such a long time ago. I do believe Ted was the third eldest, after Margaret, but as I say, my memory of him is blurred.
