Taken outside St Johns I think & before the prep school went up to the Hollies. At 5 years old I travelled by bus to Wigan & walked up to the school - no adult supervising!

I used to be on the bus with you Judith do you remember? Also Marilyn Simms, quite a little group of us, there were older girls as well who were supposed to keep an eye on us, can't imagine 5 year olds doing that now!

I am thrilled to find this page! I am wondering if I am in the front row on the photo? ( I am doing a photobook on my 'roots' -hence discovering this website. Was at the convent from from 1952- 1966 so remember THE HOLLIES well and you Judith! Sadly I could not make the re unions due to living o/seas (now in Australia for past 40 yrs.) but would love someone to contact me from my prep class especially if they have a photo of the building. What memories...
