Probably taken around 1950. Can anyone put any names to faces?

L/r 5th from left top row is tommy lever.
L/r 5th from left 2nd row is brian mitchinson.

This would probably mean the photo would have been around 1953/54 since I was in the same class as Tom Lever at St Catharines and Bob? Cherry who I think is on the back row 2nd in from left. I think there are other ex-St Catharines pupils here but can't recall their names.

The photo is probably about 1950.I don't know any pupil names but the teacher is Eric Ainsworth. Eric was at the school when I joined staff in 1956. He left in 1959 to go to Shevington High. I followed him 12 months later.

Keith, as you say this photo would be 1953/4, the pupils are around 12 years old.I worked with Tommy Lever at Heinz, he was born early 1942 which would make him 12ish at the time of the photo. I also remember Alan Ford (Fordy)i played schoolboy rugby against him, a decent player from what i can recall.

Thank you for confirming the year Jonno, I remember Tom (Thomas) very well, he always seemed to have a smile on his face, friendly and cheerful - it was a long time ago.
