This is Miss Topping's class for the school year 1958/9. No later than March '59 which is when my family left the area. I'm fourth from left, middle row. Anyone remember me?

allan did you live on wigan rd rosehill, if so where did you vanish to?
I did. We moved to Leics in 1959 and I now live in Huntingdon but I've been back to the area regularly ever since. My cousin Mike McHale lives in Appley Bridge and has posted a comment against another of the photos in this section. As he said, he used to live in the school house and I had many happy times there on holiday back in the 60s. As they say "You can take the boy out of Bryn ....."

I remember being in Miss Topping's class, I am stood next to you in the photo.
