When I played for the St Catharine's football team in 1952/3 our colours were blue and white quarters (similar to Blackburn Rovers - the Manchester United of the 1880's), nice to see the blue and white is still retained. Since the school dates from 1834 I wonder if a " Man U " type influence had any effect in their choice of colours-just a thought.
