teachers knicknames when i was there.middlehurst=owd miggy. hilton=owd aggy,heyes=owd block, grange= owd sally anderton= owd andy
the teacher on the back row is Mr Haltonwho was the art teacher at that time.He left around 1949 and was succeeded by Ms Wardle
teacher who replaced Mr Halton was Mr Wardle and not Ms Wardle as stated on previous entry.
Did Tom Robinson go onto play Rugby League? I think he had a couple og games for St Helens on the wing.
Re spring view photo and did Tom Robinson play for saints no he didn’t he used to play football in Sunday League but the best footballer in that group was George Taylor who had trials with I believe Man United
