The man on 1st left on front row, is my grandad William Aspinall. The man behind him is his brother Jack Aspinall. The curate is Rev Searle.

The man standing to the left (in picture) of the man with arms folded, looks like Mr. Spencer, lived in Rectory Lane on left just past the Church house, and opposite the Lichgate.

Glad to see my Father, Norman Douglas, proudly wearing his CLB uniform. Standing, third from left, back row. Alas, he died recently aged 100 years, and still associated with the Brigade as a honourary member.

I've a copy of this, captioned 'Men's Bible Class 1938'.
