What a lovely photo. Beautiful dresses - much nicer than the walk days of today. Really reminds me of my walking days in Hindley.

Thanks Barbara was the only time a lot of us had new dresses, thats why we loved them so much xx

Yes, and the white shoes were often ruined on a hot day when we used to pop 'tar bubbles@!
