It is taken in Poplar Avenue soon after the procession started. I'm afraid it is not of sufficient quality for me to name any of the children except perhaps for the little girl second from the right. I think she is Christine Peet who lived in the first house on the right hand side of the photo. I do however know the policemen. The taller one is my dad Special Constable Cyril Crompton and the other Special Sergeant Stan Hughes.

I think the lady with a child stood on the pavement could be my Mum & my sister, Joan. We lived 2 doors down from Christine Peet. Happy days, Jelly Sunday was so lovely, all your relations came for tea - it always seemed to be hot & sunny or am I only dreaming?
l lived on poplar Ave. L knew Joyce and Joan and Joyce husband. Also their brother Billy who passed away. That is my house in the pic. Pity it us so blurred.
