walking day about 1959 with bishops shop in the background best meat and potatoe pies on the planet.
Used to live at 621 Bolton Road, opposite Bryn Hall Hotel. Agree with comment on best meat and potato pies. Was in Uk recently and ate more pies than care to mention but not same as Mr Bishop's.

My grandmother lived at 633 Bolton Rd. opposite Bishops shop. Agreed best meat and potato pies in the world between 1948 and 1965 when we visited from Scotland at least twice a year.
