This is St. Mary's Choir in about 1955. The building behind is part of the School - which was closed in 1974, and was converted to become the church in 1978. The houses to the right, on Warrington Road, just north of Burgess Street, were demolished last year. The ribbons from the banner can be seen streaming in from the right between the houses and the school.

i am in the choir morris heaton was the chap behind me we are walking passed my auntie flories which was the last house before you went under the bridge
