The little girl with the raised posy and left elbow straining is me and the girl with the lacy bonnet,my cousin Evelyn Mulvey.The boy on the left of the photo carrying the banner looks like Ian Packingham.
June, is this date accurate?
Sorry can't be accurate on the date,I was born in 1951 and my sister in September 1957.Ihave a photo with mum,dad and I and I was wearing that dress and mum was pregnant.So by powers of deduction,I think we can say 1957.
In that case the boy holding the banner can't be Ian Packingham. I was born in 55 and Ian was in the year above me at school. That would make him 3 or 4yrs old in 57. If it IS Ian then this photo would be more like 65
I did say the boy looked like Ian,but I can guarantee that it is 1957.Sorry for the error Stephen.
