This is 1950 and the dresses were soft yellow. We had them shortened afterwards and some mothers let their little girls keep the frill on the bottom. Mine had a plain hem!

Ince parish church to the far left...it looks very early 1950s.

I can just make out Jimmy Evans pie shop at the far left of the row of houses, he wouldnt be allowed to trade nowadays, but his pies were fantastic
