Caroline Street and Clayton Street Sunday Schools used to form individual processions which merged at Miry Lane to parade around the Parish. This photograph would be about mid-1930s, and shows the Clayton Street side of the School.

That's where we did our Mining Training "Theory" in the 50's
Practical was at Low Hall & Junction colliery. Also farmed out to Maypole & Ince Moss for cheap labour..;o)
