This is my mums photo taken at St Williams Walking Day June 1949. My mum is the first one slightly to the back on left hand side MARY GARRITY. She tells me that the little girl just in front is KATHLEEN GROVES. Does any one no who the others are.

The Kathleen Groves I knew who attended St Williams would only have been about 4 years old in 1949.

lynne is your mum sure about the date of this pic ? my sister sandra was a good friend of kathleen groves and my sister was born in 1945 so it doesnt add up ? she would have only been 4 years old then wonder if it were 50/51 ish anyway lynne lovely pic

josie, did the Kathleen Groves who was a good friend of your sister Sandra live in Leaway? If so then that Kathleen Groves is not on this photo.

yes jack ive only just sussed this is the photo you were on about and yes i think our sandras friend lived in leaway somewhere around that aria ha ha only just come across this through looking through .
