No idea about the sweet factory...Santus at a guess?...but how nice to see the young lads in their short pants, and to see again a sun-blind on a shop window.
I used to get penny ice lollies from the shop on the corner on my way home from St Marys, could have been hiltons.
Yes thats deffinately Greenough St, My dad used to be the President of Central Labour Club in the mid to late 70's, I remember getting home made vimto ice lollies for 3p from that corner shop it had changed its name to Kellsalls then but I had heard others still call it Hiltons
