I wasn't to sure if this was St Johns or not until I checked the contents of the Walking days
Album/St Johns and Photo: Dave Kelly Item #:91 posted in 2007 is a black and white photo of the same group of children. So Dave and the others who commented on that photo, I hope you enjoy this and it brings back some happy memories for you.

This brought back memories of how the bottom of Standishgate used to look with the row of shops on the right. Another gem of a photo from Robert. Keep them coming!

I hope you have an endless supply of these Rob you keep taking me back to my childhood.
I think we've met years ago either Bowling Green or John & Janet's cottage up Standish Wood Lane?

David Mercer, are you Pat's son? If so our mothers were cousins.

The shoe shop next to the Wesylean School was a Scholl shop.
I always thought it was Nelly Alker's shop, not Billy.
