Bill, did you either work at Springs Branch or live in Ince. Your name is familiar
Hi Stephen...Born in Ince and moved to Hindley when I got married in 1977.
I was born and brought up at 30 Belle Green Lane and married in 76. What schools did you go to?
Hi Bill
My gran used to be friends with a Mrs Eatock lived over Rose Bridge, what was your mothers or grandmothers first name?.
I was born at the top of Belle Green Lane in the place they used to call "Irish Town" Went to Belle Green and Rose Bridge. To the best of my knowledge, we had no relatives over rose Bridge.
Well Bill, what years were you at Rose Bridge? I was ther '66 to '70
Hi Stephen...I left Rose Bridge in the year you started there...1966.
Lovely pictur Bill, I was also born atthe top of Belle Green Lane 3 Smiths Street to be exact and went to Belle Green school and Rose Bridge but left school in 76.
I don't remember Smith Street, Marlene. Can you jog my memory, please...
Smith street was opposite the new belle green school behind the terrace houses i cant give you a more accurate detail i was only a toddler when we moved from there but i will find out i will ask my brother Jack i think you might have gone to school with him Jack Cain thats when he went that is hes not on any school photos ha ha.
Hi Marlene...Yes I went to Belle Gren when Jack was there. I too am missing off the school photo's. Jack and I must have wagged school and gone playing on the "wutchie!" I remember Smith Street now. It was near the old water tank.
