I was wrong. Didn't think he was there in '58 but that certainly looks like Pobs to me.
Pobs is on, Albert "The Righteous" Wright and Pricker "Hitlaar" Price but who's the John Clees look-a-like next to Pobs?
And the next two; the blond haired guy is not even familiar. Glad you remembered Price's name; knew the face but not the name.
Frank. Surprised you dont know blondy. Its Albert Wright. English teacher. Rugby master sometimes. Was a good player. Think played for St Helens RU or West Park. Nice guy but a bible thumper.
One to the right of John Cleese. Is that Gus? Next to him..no idea. His hair may be grey not blond. Surprised I dont know these..maybe they were just temps.
Hi Knowlsey. Sorry to have misled you but I did mean the blond/grey haired guy (3rd from the left). I remember Albert Wright very well: always found him to be a decent bloke. Not sure about the one between Blondey and John Cleese; it might be Gus as you suggest.

Yes I recall Dave Sumner. A quiet reflective soul at school. I am surprised he didn't join the preisthood. Still I understand he has lived a quiet life of contemplation and serenity. Ahmen!
Mel Wadsworth is sat 3rd row 3rd from the right wearing a light coloured blazer and looking completely out of place amongst the younger pupils. It might be why he's scowling! He was in the 6th form with my Dad, Geoff Buckley - who's on the next section along at the back
