Not suggesting this was a bad old place DTease, but its three gables remind me of the house of ill-intent in the 'Holmes story, and in which the spooky Langdale Pike - with a definitive 'She's deadly!' - is played by Peter Wyngarde. Don't know what Poet would make of 'Pike.
